About Erev Gevura

This year, Bnei Akiva of Los Angeles will celebrate 11 years of Shavua Gevura - a week-long program featuring an inspiring organization or individual from Israel. Our honored guest spend the week meeting and speaking with over 600 students at our partner Jewish day and high schools. Our annual Erev Gevura is the week's inspiring highlight for the community adults.

Bnei Akiva of Los Angeles is proud of this community-wide educational program as well as all the year-round youth activities that are fully funded by you and our many generous donors. Your support of this event and of Bnei Akiva of Los Angeles makes this possible. You should be very proud of what we have accomplished together.

The demand among our youth for more programming has grown exponentially in the City and the Valley! We have 4 local branches full of eager youth that benefit from quality programming.

This explosive growth in youth participation in Bnei Akiva has stretched us beyond what our budgets and planning could have imagined.

We know you share our excitement and enthusiasm in the desire to keep our youth nurtured and committed to the values of Bnei Akiva.

It is with your giving that we can accomplish this. Your generous donations will provide:

  • Funding for year-round activities for our increasing number of youth who are participating, growing friendships, developing leadership skills and strengthening their connection to the State of Israel.

  • Continued community programming such as Yom Ha'atzmaut, our community's celebration of Israel, Shavua Gevura, and holiday events

  • A personal connection to the Religious Zionist community with the presence of our Shlichim families.

Thank you to all of you for being part of our Bnei Akiva of Los Angeles family and making sure that Bnei Akiva will remain a part of our dynamic Jewish community.
